Privacy.
This website is designed as a lightweight static archive. It does not require an account and does not sell visitor information.
Article access counter
The optional local article counter records the requested article identifier and a total number of views. It does not need to store names, email addresses or advertising profiles. Standard server logs may also be retained by the hosting provider.
BusaBoy Logbook
If you submit a Logbook entry, the website stores the name or nickname, optional country, selected relationship to BusaBoy, optional article or memory, message and submission time. No email address is requested. Entries remain private until Antonio approves them, after which the submitted information appears publicly. A one-way visitor hash and recent timestamps are stored temporarily to limit spam; the raw address is not placed in the Logbook entry.
Dive Planner
The Dive Planner performs its calculations in your browser. Full dive profiles, exact gas mixes, cylinder pressures and saved-job names are not submitted to BusaBoy. The site sends anonymous action counters for opening the planner, successful calculations (including maximum-stay calculations), opening the manual, sharing the planner link, opening print preview and copying a plan. Only the action name and its fixed counter identifier are sent; no dive parameters, gas information, plan-derived statistics, saved plans or job names are included. These counters contain no visitor identifiers or individual event histories. Up to five named jobs can be kept in local browser storage until you delete them or clear browser data. Repetitive-dive tissue history and the visit-count marker use temporary session storage. Standard hosting logs may still record requests.
External services
Links to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and PayPal open external services governed by their own privacy policies. YouTube thumbnails may be loaded from YouTube’s image servers. The optional “Support the Archive” payment is handled on PayPal’s website; YouBusaBoy does not collect or process payment-card information.
Contact
When you contact Antonio by email, the information you send is used only to respond to your message unless another lawful purpose is clearly explained.
